INTRODUCTION

Rise Of The Third Power is a retro – themed console roleplaying game, story takes place in the land of RIN during the height of the Age of sail.

FEATURES

• Story Driven – Join a party of 8 unique characters as they navigate the world of RIN.
• Political Intrigue – As the world of RIN recovers from the Great War the balance of power remains badly skewed.
• Custom Battle System – All 8 characters are unique with own abilities and can swap team during battles.
• Persistent Equipment – Each piece of equipment found, stole, brought is permanent no longer buy helmet only to find a better one as treasure but with each character having 3 equipment slots, 8 upgrades each with 192 to find in total, avoiding tedium of inventory management.

PROS

Story was interesting from start to finish.

Enemies are all cool and interesting with own look and all had own attacks, weaknesses to learn best way to fight them.

Characters you play as all look, and more more importantly have own feel to theier moves and combat style.

Lots of build options as alot of different skills, bonuses you can learn to suit your playstyle.

Story mode is gives you a option that is great as if boss or enemies you fight are to difficult, story mode will insta – kill enemies and you can turn it on or off during fights.

World is huge and felt alive, joy to explore find secrets and do many side quests.

Super nostalgic snes, feeling to graphics.

Gear management is streamlined as just upgrade gear to give permanent bonus no looting tons of new items which is nice as means you don’t find million plus items like other games which can get confusing.

Lots of content, loads to do, explore, fight all for £16.74.

CONS

Easy to get lost and not sure where to go for when doing side quests as be nice with markers.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9/10

Overall very fun game which is full of content, cool abilities, enemies and the world is huge and full of life and is a joy to explore, but is easy to get lost when doing missions, quests. Great value for £16.74
