This is released in the UK on 25/06/2020 and in the UK priced at £16.74. IF you have gamepass then is free.

INTRODUCTION

As a demon army besieges his village,a young ninja ventures through a cursed world,to deliver a scroll paramount to his clan’s survival. What begins as a classic action platformer soon unravels into an expansive time-traveling adventure full of thrills,surprises,and humor.

FEATURES

* Dynamic,acrobatic gameplay and ultra tight controls worthy of an epic ninja adventure.

* Character upgrades,new abilities,hidden levels,and branching paths to discover.

* A memorable cast to offbeat villains,bosses,and associates.

* Meticulously designed 8-bit and 16-bit sprites,animations,and backgrounds in the spirit of the classics.

PROS

Game has a nostalgic feel to graphics that reminds me of the snes,megadrive era very retro.

Story was good it kept me interested from start to finish liked how made me more interested in the world.

Combat simple compared to other games as only couple buttons to learn but combat very satisfying and rewarding combat has old school difficulty.

Upgrade system easy to understand and does grow as you progress through game and compared to other games has a nice feel as upgrades like destroy enemy projectiles are instantly noticeable.

Bosses are all unique requiring different strategies to defeat them but all fights are super fun.

Alot of humor makes characters feel alive and more connected to them.

All worlds looked and felt different to each other and all have own look some have environmental issues such as ice which causes you slide and another level has sand pits which slowly try suffocate you.

The little creature QUARBLE is very cool,unique like how he shows up when you die steals all gems you get for a while and also gives alot humor aswell.

Alot of content for the price especially if you have gamepass as it is free and another example why gamepass is such great value.

CONS

Can be annoying as when camera moves as you traverse level such as jumping u platforms any enemy’s that where below will respawn again.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9/10

This is super fun has a slight issue with enemy respawn that can be annoying sometimes but very fun refreshing as old school difficultly and old school fun.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS AS SUPER FUN AND IF YOU HAVE GAMEPASS IS FREE.
